WHY FRUITING?

Why is Fruiting technology necessary?

After harvest, tangerines are continuously exposed to moisture loss and microbial penetration throughout the entire process, from washing and sorting to distribution and storage. In particular, if the cuticle (wax layer) is damaged during the washing process, moisture evaporation accelerates and pathogen penetration increases, leading to moisture loss, weight reduction, accelerated discoloration and spoilage, reduced marketability, and a shortened shelf life. Ultimately, the majority of losses in tangerine distribution occur in the post-harvest stage.

  1. Nano Emulsification Technology

This technology separates particles into nanoscale units by applying high energy, helping to maintain particle stability and thus enhancing preservation.

  1. Subcritical
    Extraction

Sub-critical water helps enable eco-friendly product coatings due to its high dissociation, and the design planning for its extraction has been completed.

The results of the cross-sectional analysis demonstrate that a uniform nanocoating layer can be formed with just a single application, and precise control of the layer's thickness is achievable through repetitive coating.

Treatment

Proven technology for preventing the spread of corruption in the distribution field

Farmers and distribution centers were the first to select the technology verified in comparative experiments under various conditions that considered on-site distribution and storage environments.

Checking technological economic power

Checking technological economic power

With this groundbreaking technology, which has been proven to improve quality, profitability, and shelf life, sorting facilities and distributors can reduce losses and enhance their competitiveness in shipments, while consumers can receive a stable supply of safe and fresh tangerines.

Up to 20–50%p improvement

Negligence loss rate

Prevent loss of approximately 150–200 kg

Loss prevention (Kg)

Prevent loss of approximately 1.2 to 2 million won

Loss prevention (amount)

Result

Checking differences by processing method based on subsequent progress speed

Fruiting changes color faster and more uniformly during the ripening stage compared to conventional wax.

Wax

Surface protection is possible, but post-ripening proceeds relatively slowly.

Color change occurs unevenly

ECOGEAR Fruiting

Yellow coloring due to ripening proceeds more quickly and evenly

Maintaining the natural ripening process of tangerines
